The family business LA GIOIOSA, run by the family Moretti, produces wine for many generations. The breakthrough of the winery happened under Divo Moretti, the father of the present ownerships. Today, the winery is run by Amalia Moretti, the wife of Divo Moretti and by the sons Mario and Giancarlo. By now, LA GIOIOSA rank among the most accredited wineries of Venetia. The name LA GIOIOSA is modelled on the region, which is historically designated "Gioiosa et Amorosa" (glad and loving). The registered office of the winery is situated in the province Treviso.

There, also famous wine roads like the “road of Prosecco“ and the ”road of DOC wines“ cross. Cold winters and mild summers determine the climate of this zone, at the foot of the Alpes. These natural facts, pander the vegetation and maturation of the grapevines. This, connected with much love to the wine and the correspondent technology, enables LA GIOIOSA to produce products of highest standard.

North of Venice is the beautiful Prosecco wine country, where the spectacular Villa Sandi Winery is located. Villa Sandi is a winery known as much for its top wines as for its deep cultural connection to the Veneto region. The estate lies at the heart of Veneto in Marca Trevigiana and is owned by the Moretti Polegato family, now in its third generation of winemaking here.

The Trevisan hills surrounding Villa Sandi are home to both the Villa Sandi Estate in Prosecco di Valdobbiandene, where 10 hectars of vines are cultivated, and to estates in Crocetta del Montello, where 40 hectars are cultivated. In the former, red wine grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot are grown, The grapes used in the prestigious crus, like Cuvee are grown in strategically laid out vineyards that take full advantage of the breeze and sunlight of the gently undulating landscape here. This is also the source of the grapes used in Villa Sandi’s floral Prosecco wines, both still and sparkling.
